Radical Islamic Takeover Spreading Across Moderate Middle East US Allies…

As noted in the previous Blog entry, Egypt’s government is likely to fall as a result of street protests driven in great part by Islamic Fundamentalist youth who are encouraged by local religious leaders during Friday prayers to strike down the moderate, west-leaning government.

Following these results in Tunisia and Egypt, additional moderate countries such as Jordan and Yemen are now under similar attack – virtually eliminating the few coalition partners the US has had in the fight against Al Qaeda.  Additionally, countries such as Egypt and Jordan have historically been friendly with Israel – an issue which sticks in the craw of Islamic fundamentalists who still want to wipe Israel off the map.

Yemen, Jordan and Israel have been recipients of  significant US foreign aid and military support and will likely lose that support should their governments fall like that in Tunisia.  However, this simply opens the door f or iran and Hezbolla and Hamas to provide military and financial support to the “emerging democracies” which the US media likes to call these insurrection activities.

The world is changing fast – and quickly leaving Israel on its own – even perhaps separated from the US now that the Obama administration is encouraging the downfall of the Mubarak government in Egypt.  The risk of a “democratic” government headed by an extremest group such as the Islamic Brotherhood in Egypt and elsewhere is very high – and any encouragement that the protestors continue to receive from Obama and his unnecessary intrusion in to the government operations of other countries simply puts more  fuel on the Islamic takeover efforts…

What would one expect from a US president who is likely a closet Muslim?

What do you think?
