Happy Birthday President Ronald Reagan…

President Reagan would have been 100 this week had he stayed us with a few extra years…History will likely show that his bust is worthy of placement alongside the others on Mount Rushmore.

He has a son, Ronald Prescott Reagan who has been quite  virulent in demeaning Sarah Palin in her accolades for his father the former President… The junior Reagan is a strong liberal and an athiest –  which tells us volumes about his real qualifications to evaluate not only his father but the conservative Christian Palin.

The liberal and secular media is having a field day with this as one might expect – in anticipation of Palin’s keynote speech in Santa Barbara, CA. in the coming days.

The junior Reagan’s comment that Palin is “…nothing like his father, the President” speaks volumes of the loons on the far left whose brains have been fried by athiestic thinking and wine and brea parties and associations around the Washington Beltway…Perhaps if he had spent more time with his father and mother rather than failing to make the grade at  Yale and falling in with a homosexual crowd at the Joffrey Ballet – he would have a better understanding of not only his father’s conservatism and (mostly private) Christian leanings but also understanding that dancing in his underwear in the White House to parody Tom Cruise’s “Risky Business” – when his folks were gone – was not exactly the upbringing that his father and mother had hoped for.

So, on this week of the President’s 100th birthday – we hope Ron junior gets the memo and begins to understand that while he may  have been on the path less travelled, his father became a figurehead for social conservatism that has spanned and encouraged an entire new generation of  young people, including Palin and millions of others.

What do you think?

  1. It’s hard for me to imagine Ron Prescott as President Reagan’s son. I know better, but it would be easier for me to believe Sarah was his daughter.
