Obama has been called a lot of things…including some unsavory labels here on this and thousands of other blogs and news reports. In light of the rapidly changing ideological, political, religious and financial condition of the world at large, it might be good to re-evaluate our President in light of the labels listed in the heading.
Some on the far right(and an increasing number on the left and in the center) consider him to be a complete idiot – replete with a lack of business, finance and leadership background.
Perhaps they are right – since these attributes certainly do not appear in his resume or collegiate records – if valid copies of them can be found…
Others view his eloquent discourses as coming from an individual who is a lot smarter than we think…and they might well be right …but then again most anyone can be trained to read from a teleprompter and project ideas with apparent authority…if they didn’t have to think them out in real time.
Still others see him as an angry black man – acting out the failures and anti-Western idiocyncrecies of his father – as Obama himself has elucidated in his autobiography, “Dreams of my father”… The down-trodden background of Kenya, where Obama, his family and father came from has provided adequate fodder for this class warfare ideology that we have now had three plus years to hear about from the President.
Finally, there is the school of thought that, since God Himself has ordained the steps of men and nations from their beginnings to their ends, Obama may simply be playing a bit part in God’s plan for the end of this dispensation in world history. The Bible tells us that we are to respect leadership, good or bad, inasmuch as God has placed them in that position, at that time in history, to accomplish a specific purpose for Him.
On the other hand, if the leadership is espousing an ideology in opposition to what scripture indicates – then we are to stand in opposition to that ungodly ideology.
In this sense, if we view what is happening in this age with respect to politics, religion, conflict and finance, then it does not take a semiconductor scientist to see that we are probably in one of the last chapters or stages of world history – and Obama is simply helping us down that slippery path that the Bible clearly describes as a precursor to the nasty end of history as we know it.
It took all types of brilliant as well as tyrannical leaders throughout history to slowly step through the historical progress of earth…We can see the brilliance of a Churchill, or the demonic activities of a Nero or Stalin or Hitler and how they helped turn the pages of history and each in their own way in a small sense brought us closer to the end of time as the Bible clearly states.
Admittedly, this last viewpoint of Obama may be a minority one…but one which cannot be ignored for several reasons.
First, in the last days described in the Bible, the world will look for a global leader(certainly someone who doesn’t need a teleprompter) to fish the world out of its economic, religious and military troubles. It takes no genius to see that the US as well as other major world powers are slowly sliding into economic chaos for any variety of reasons.
Secondly, we can see religious divisiveness occurring on a global scale with radical Islamic terrorism becoming a growing threat to both Christian and Jewish beliefs as well as to portions of the Muslim world itself..
Finally, military conflicts are increasing as the Bible forecasts for the last days. It is clear that Obama has no political will or persuasive abilities to stem these growing international conflicts – except perhaps to hit the protagonists over the head with his newly acquired Nobel Peace Prize…
his recent escapades in messing up the Israeli/Palestinian peace process is only one of many examples that can be cited.
Obama may be all of these – but I think that since God is in control and in each of these above presumed attributes, Obama is NOT in control…he is simply playing a small part in God’s program for closing down shop here on earth in the near future.
What do you think?
