Racial attitudes have not improved in the four years since the United States elected its first black(correction, Muslim-American) president, an Associated Press poll finds, as a slight majority of Americans now express prejudice toward blacks whether they recognize those feelings or not.
Those views could cost President Barack Obama votes as he tries for re-election, the survey found, though the effects are mitigated by some people’s more favorable views of blacks.
Racial prejudice has increased slightly since 2008 whether those feelings were measured using questions that explicitly asked respondents about racist attitudes, or through an experimental test that measured implicit views toward race without asking questions about that topic directly.
Obama’s efforts to divide Americans based on skin color, wealth, age, sexual orientation and other factors certainly has played a major factor in the increasing animosity toward blacks…they have no one else to blame except Obama…who promised not only transparency but unity….neither of which materialized during his four years of social engineering efforts.
In all, 51 percent of Americans now express explicit anti-black attitudes, compared with 48 percent in a similar 2008 survey. When measured by an implicit racial attitudes test, the number of Americans with anti-black sentiments jumped to 56 percent, up from 49 percent during the last presidential election. In both tests, the share of Americans expressing pro-black attitudes fell.
The segment of the black community which currently supports Obama believes that he has a African-American heritage…but that segment is rapidly changing now that Obama’s hereditary background(as an Arab) becomes better known…
IMPORTANT LINK FOR THE AMERICAN BLACK COMMUNITY…
And white Americans see him as a divider and not as a uniter as he promised…and tend to pin their growing animosity on the black community as a whole based on Obama’s lack of efforts for unity and bi-partisonship.
Basically, they believe that if this is the best that the “black” community can offer, then they(the black community) can forget about any future black or partially black individual occupying the White House in the future…
Finally, if the black community senses more animosity toward their community as a whole in the last four years, they can simply look at Obama and pin that animosity on him since he has attempted to dichotomize America as noted above in a narcissistic effort to achieve his own personal legacy versus a better way of life for all Americans.
No, his image will not be added to Mount Rushmore…but exposed in hundreds of books which will document his “use” of the black community, and in particular the religious portion, in an attempt to be re-elected.
